The East of France cuisine, especially Alsace and Lorraine is rich and mostly inspired from Germany which they share a border with, of course you know the famous Choucroute but you will be glad to discover Spätzle pasta, flammenkueche, baeckeoffe, munster cheese,  dampfnüdle, Streusel and Kougelhof.
